Jovita Moore Facts

She was born and raised in New York.
Jovita had joined WSB-TV in 1998. Prior to that, she had worked for KSFM-TV in Fayetteville and then in Tennessee for WMC-TV out of Bennington.
In April 2021, Jovita had announced that she was diagnosed with 2 brain tumors and was scheduled for surgery for its removal in the same month. However, in August 2021, WSB-TV posted an article that she was diagnosed with an incurable form of brain cancer called Glioblastoma. Nevertheless, chemotherapy and radiation have aided in a reduction in the size of her tumor.
She is an avid volunteer at Our House Atlanta.
Jovita refers to herself as a “pizza snob.”
